This month, along with our regular updates, we’re bringing you a series of barre-inspired exercises to help train the core and lower body. As aerialists, we take inspiration from many areas of fitness and dance; barre conditioning allows us to dip a toe into the world of ballet to help improve our posture, alignment and active flexibility. The barre itself is intended for light support and can be the back of a chair, a kitchen counter or pole. Look out for information on each page with the individual moves, including technique tips and progressions.
